I learned about the organization Soles 4 Souls which facilitates the donations of shoes which are used to aid the hurting worldwide.

Help Wanted! Search Narrows! Help Decide

Posted on Feb 2 2009 - 3:52pm

The final canidates from last weeks inquire are Mr Anybody, Suzie Some-one,and Dr Who?.....

Looking someone who may interested in becoming our trip coordinator. Ideally the volunteer would be responsible for organizing of the paper details of each trip and or outing (15-20 annually). This important support role would allow trip leaders to focus on the details and planning of the trip. The co-ordinator would perform the same tasks each trip or outing which include tracking payments, permission slips, apply for the on-line permits etc. This role would be great for a parent or ASM ,of a younger scout, whom prefers a behind the scenes contribution. Thanks for your consideration. Please contact me for more infomation.

On January 26, 2009, Jack Kelly completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review thereby becoming Troop 3's 111th Eagle Scout. Fewer than two percent of all Boy Scouts achieve this rank of distinction. In addition to completing six ranks, earning a minimum of twenty-one merit badges, and writing numerous essays, an Eagle Scout candidate must develop, plan and implement a leadership service project. This project must benefit the scout's community and must employ a minimum of one hundred man-hours of labor.
