Solo Schools of Conway, NH will conduct a Wilderness First Aid course at the Scout House on March 20-21. This is a fantastic first aid course that any scout or adult who attends camping trips with the Boy Scouts or on their own. BSA is actually considering requiring adult leaders to be WFA certified for various outdoor events. All Troop 3 members are invited to take this course. The fee is $125.00 per person and is a 16 hour (8 hours/day for two days) course. The fee includes tuition as well as breakfast and lunch both days.

We will meet Monday, January 25th from 8:30-9:00pm after the regular scout meeting to finalize float plane plans for each Northern Tier crew.

Mark your calendars and sign up now! We need parents and scouts to do food prep at the Legion Hall Kitchen on Weds, Dec 16 (4-7 pm). We will also need parents to drive/supervise and scouts to do the Cape Ann Food Serving in Gloucester on Dec 17 (4-7 pm).

All order forms, money and prize selections are due THIS Monday, November 2. Slots for selling downtown are available this coming weekend and the following weekend - November 7-8.

Please consider helping out, around your schedule. We need two adult volunteers to perform our Summer Camp Administration. This role entails collecting paperwork and payments, scheduling transportation, holding an informational meetings and signing the boys up for their merit badges.

Cardigan weekend (Dec 4-6)is one of the Troop's best trips for scout AND parents! The troop usually takes over the beautiful AMC lodge, enjoys fabulous food, plays games, music and takes a terrific mountain hike on Saturday.
