Carter Notch Hut via 19-mile Brook Trail. One way: 3.8 miles or about 3 hiking hours in AMC book time. One overnight. No tents. Hike out in the morning.

Summer camp is July 18-24. Looking for more scouts!! SIGN UP NOW. The troop has their favorite site, Little Big Horn. But we NEED scouts and adults to sign up! Please let Mr. Lamothe know of your interest at the next meeting. Adults can do a half week if that works better. This week is the perfect time to earn a bundle of merit badges, build roaring campfires and compete in camp-wide contests. Today we had about 11 scouts show up at 9. They did the following.

Take all tables, food bins, coolers outside bleach scrub and rinse all.
Remove and refold all ground cloths and tarps

Any Troop member, adult or scout (scouts must be 16 yrs old before 5/1/10), is eligible to take the Red Cross Professional Lifeguard Course offered at the Danvers YMCA.

In the "Advancement" folder you will find information regarding advancement and Scout Spirit. All scouts should review these brief documents and endeavor to incorporate the suggestions into their daily and scouting life.

This trip is officially sold out. There is a ton of snow up north and we should have a fantastic time!
